The world’s leading brand of fine art materials, Windsor & Newton, was starting to look dated. The packaging for their extensive range of solvents, oils and varnishes had been on shelf for many years and was being mimicked by competitors.
My challenge was to design new packaging that would provided a distinctive shelf presence for the
brand and re-connect with artists around the world. I developed a new ergonomic shape to enabled mess free pouring and a labelling structure to help artists navigate the range. Together they have resulted in a modern distinctive look for the range which dominates art shop shelves.
